Wakey Wakey Big Brown Bear is a story written by Tracey Corderoy and illustrated by Rachel Swirles. I am probably not the first nor the last person to point out that this story is just like the John Lewis The bear and the hare advert.
This picture book tells a story of a bear that doesn't like sleeping through the Autumn and Winter because he misses all the fun, so his friends promise to wake him up. When they fail to wake him up though, they do something amazing for him in the Spring.
It's such a sweet little story and it makes a nice addition to the Winter bookshelf collection building up in time for the cold evenings. It is available to buy from Amazon now.
