On Sunday 19th
we were invited along to a VIP event at Castle Lake Brewers Fayre (in
Kent) after a train ride and a bit of a walk we were greeted by thee
Dennis the Menace and his dog Gnasher. After sneaking past we made
our way through the building to the other side, to be met with a
brightly coloured area. Within moments of signing in and getting a
wristband S was off! I followed for a few moments, before allowing
him to go do what he wanted. Climbing up and Sliding down, chucking
around soft shapes in the toddler area, racing in the car. (of course
examining the grabber machines).
This new play area only costs £3 for 90 minutes of play.
There is a separate little room, that day filled with the opportunity to be face painted. I assume would make a good space for party gathering and little events just like this. The toddler area consisted of soft play shapes, a puzzle on the wall to try and complete, 2 Little Tykes cars and a couple of baby walkers so everyone can join in! The bigger area was a two storey with obstacles to climb and run through as well as a twisty slide to get back down to the bottom. As well as a little counter that offers drinks and a few snacks. There are tables in the area so you can comfortably eat your meal in there too.

After lots of playing and exploring, it was time to settle down before our lunch turned up! With a colour-in mask and a activity book, we had a read through the comic story. Then in front of us appeared two plates of food. Mine smothered chicken, with chips, salad and garlic bread and for S pizza and garlic bread (but we had a bit of a trade). It did not take long for the food to be demolished, and a quick play in-between, before ice-cream and cake appeared at the table to be eaten up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Such lovely food, staff and great play area for little ones to burn off that extra energy (as we know how frustrating it can be waiting for food). Check at Brewers Fayre website for your local restaurant and all those yummy meal choices!
