The Woodlands, Beefeater

Recently we were invited to check out the recently refurbished The Woodlands, Gravesend Beefeater.
Upon arrival the area was quiet, outside seating for enjoying a drink or two.
There is a warm, welcoming foyer to walk through before entering the restaurant,
Inside it was still quiet, spacious and lots of amazing wall art pieces.
Must confess I love the lights!

The table was booked in advance, so the staff took us straight over,
On a round table generally set for 6, but even with 5 it was clear to see there wasn't a ton of space.
There was plenty of room around the tables though so no fear of annoying nearby diners.
Our waitress was straight over to introduce herself and tell us what wasn't available,
Then let us know the recommendations and took our drink orders.

Whilst waiting children can have a go at filling out the Mr Men and Little Miss activity book,
There is two parts for younger and older children, full of drawing, puzzles and stories.
(till the end of August each children’s meal comes with a free Mr.Men/Little Miss toy)

Beefeater is very good value for money, making treating yourself to a starter and pudding
something that won't break the bank!

The meals were great portion sizes and the meat itself was cooked lovely.
Totally recommend trying out the onion rings, they were beautiful!

Eaten too much?! Then there is a park and garden right outside,
great for burning off some of those calories after dinner.
The staff were helpful, funny to entertain the kids and kind.
I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and experience,
Would definitely go and visit again in the near future.

*We were given some vouchers towards our meal, this does not effect our opinion in anyway.
