The Regent's Park covers 395 acres and includes Queen Mary's Gardens which features more than 12,000 roses of 400 varieties. The park also houses the Open Air Theatre, London Zoo, Primrose Hill, the country's largest free to access waterfowl collection and 100 species of wild bird.
I am loving this nice weather and hope it truly is here to stay for the summer. It has given us so much time to be out and about exploring, which is something I love. This weekend saw me doing the Superhero Run and as the weather blessed us with yet another lovely day.
We took advantage and went wandering round Regent's Park. Spotted some babies, a beautiful black swan and some weird and wonderful statues. It's definitely not your typical London scene, with times completely forgetting you were in London with very little building around. So peaceful and quiet, with rockery and water and more flowers than you can imagine. (A bit of a shame the roses were not in bloom)
