Things like gravel or slate instead of grass are good ideas because they don't take up as much energy as weeding and mowing, but still look great. Especially with the addition of a seasonal plant in pots as well.

A gutter in bad condition can really bring the rest of the look down, so check them regularly and replace them with newer ones, like the one available from the Roofing Superstore. But remember too that you still need to match the period of your home with the style that you pick, for it's too look its best.

Your brickwork

Remember rendering a home, where the rest are sandblasted old stone may not be the wisest decision. As not only will your home look out of place, but you may find that you neighbors are annoyed that you aren't in keeping with the community as well.
